Scope of our work:

JZ Flowers, a prominent UK floral producer and importer, specialises in British seasonal flowers, including daffodils, tulips, sunflowers, and peonies. With a commitment to maintaining the freshness of their daffodils for market sale, we undertook the design and implementation of a specialised storage area with controlled conditions at their Lincolnshire site in Holbeach.

Our work included installing a specialised cooling system and upgrading existing equipment to enhance defrost capabilities. Additionally, we integrated new control mechanisms for better system management and operational efficiency.

Reflecting on a successful project, Design Supervisor Jordan Antonietti said: “Modifying existing systems and adding or extending existing controls systems requires specialist expertise and is quite a complex task, so we were thrilled to deliver the exact specification required and ensure the new install aligned perfectly to the existing controls.

“Having been involved from the initial design phase right through to the handover, it was very pleasing to see the project completed within the initial agreed timescales. We’ve received some great feedback from the client, and they are very happy with the solution we’ve provided.”

"Working with Cambridge HOK Refrigeration on this project has been a pleasure, and we're delighted with the results," stated Tessa Zwemstra, Managing Director at JZ Flowers. We are committed to constantly investing in our sites to improve the quality of our products and ensure customer satisfaction."
